RTCNR
offers different types of training programmes for candidates.
Sponsored by industry, especially small scale industry.
The training is very professional and offered in Electrical,
Chemical, Metallurgical and Mechanical fields. This
training programme is beneficial to all Industries,
since they will get trained diploma holders for implementing
quality control and assurance activities in their respective
establishments.

1. Types of Training
|
a)
Long Term Training
RTCNR
offers long term training of 6 months duration
in specific fields throughout the year in all
the four technical divisions.
b) Specialised Training
RTCNR
offers this specialised training of 15 days’
duration in specific and specialised areas at
the specific request of the Industries”
association or individuals. This specialised training
is offered throughout
the year.
c) Synchronised
Training Programme
This is
a very special type of training programme intended
for industry sponsored candidates.
This training offers “hands-on-training”
since the trainee will learn to test his own sample.
This unique training programme is generally conducted
by the Electrical Division at the
specific request of the industry. The economic
benefit from this training programme will be
enormous to the sponsoring industry. For further

2. Eligibility top
|
| Candidates sponsored
by industries, industry associations, institutions
or individuals having required technical qualification
or minimum relevant experience are eligible to
apply. Diploma holders in Engineering is a minimum
technical qualification required to apply in Electrical,
Mechanical and Metallurgical fields Degree is
the minimum requirement for applying in Chemical
field.

3. How to Apply ?
|
|
Application
on plain papers shall be addressed to the Director,
RTC(NR), New Delhi, furnishing the following
details.
a) Name
b) Father’s Name
c) Educational Qualification
d) Address for communication
e) Whether SC/ST/GEN
f) Name of the Course Applied for
g) Along with following enclosures
1) One passport size photograph
2) Attested photocopies
of Diploma/ Degree certificates along with mark
sheets
3) Experience certificate
(for sponsored candidates only)

4. Selection top
|
| All
the eligible candidates will be called for interview.
Candidates will be selected based on their performance
in the interview and their academic record and
informed accordingly through post or candidate
himself can see the result in the selected candidates
list available in the notice board of RTCNR.

5. Venue
|
All training programmes are imparted in the
Regional Testing Centre(Northern Region).
Shaheed Capt. Gaur Marg, Okhla, New Delhi-110020.

6. Boarding and Lodging
|
RTCNR will not be providing any boarding and/
or lodging facility to any candidate during
the course of training. All selected candidates
are supposed to make their own arrangements.

7. Course Duration and
Timing top
|
| The
duration of short-term course will be of 15 days
and that of long-term will be of 6 months duration.
The timings will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all
working days.

8. Training Calendar
|
This calendar furnishes the schedule of long-term
training, short-term training and seminars,
which are planned to be held in RTCNR, during
the course of the Financial Year.
